A STEMspiration is a theme that:
- underpins a number of STEM Together class activities, events and toolkits for educators
- connects real-world STEM to inquiry projects, the curriculum or Educator Professional Learning
- can be interpreted and answered from many angles, using real-world STEM and CSIRO research
- puts students at the centre and gets them thinking, delving deeper, and can be looked at from an individual, local, national or global level.
2023 STEMspiration: 'Planet Future - How would you create the world you want to live in?'
The future is going to be a different place. How might advances in technology, engineering and science change the way we live; the places we live and our environments? How can we design, make, and use things better?
Planet Future is all about innovative thinking. It's about finding out from those that are doing it, using different tools, or ways of looking at things – to help with challenges that matter, whether they seem big or small.
