About

CSIRO Robot Responders is an interactive online game where players design, test and refine robots to complete missions inspired by real-world science and engineering.

Each mission challenges players to select the right combination of robot features to overcome environmental obstacles, gather information and complete important tasks in locations that are too dangerous, difficult or inaccessible for humans. Along the way, players discover how different environments influence robot design and learn how engineers solve complex problems using STEM. The game can be enjoyed as a standalone experience or used alongside the CSIRO Robot Responders learning resources to extend understanding of the science and engineering behind each mission.

Continue the adventure with the accompanying learning resources and CSIRO Robot Responders card game, which include flexible activities for schools, community groups and home learning, providing more opportunities to investigate robot design, collaborate with others and apply STEM thinking through hands-on play.

Disclaimer: This game is currently in Beta. While we’ve worked hard to provide a great experience, you may encounter bugs or unexpected issues. If you do, we’d appreciate your feedback. Please email any issues to help us improve the game at csiroscienceexperiment@csiro.au. Thank you for your support and patience during this testing phase.
