Acknowledgement of Country
We acknowledge the extraordinary contributions Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have made, and continue to make, to our culture, the economy and science. We're working with Indigenous communities and organisations to create Indigenous-driven education solutions that support sustainable futures for Indigenous peoples, cultures and Country.

Our education programs and initiatives
Living STEM
Living STEM supports primary and secondary school teachers to embed Indigenous Knowledges in the school learning program through hands-on inquiry projects to increase student engagement and achievement in STEM.
The program supports schools to build partnerships with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander families and communities, and foster reconciliation and respect for local Indigenous culture.
Living STEM benefits all students by providing authentic and engaging STEM learning that deepens the connection with the Country and culture where they live.
CSIRO is committed to ensuring its online content is accessible to everyone regardless of ability.
