CSIRO Wild Watch

CSIRO Wild Watch calls curious minds - young and young-at-heart - to connect with nature and form a nationwide team of citizen scientists. Young people, schools, community groups and families can head outdoors, observe local flora and fauna, and contribute valuable biodiversity data for Australian research.

NOTE: This registration form is for educators (ie: teachers, community leaders, homeschool) and parents/guardians. It is not to be submitted by students/dependents. If you are a student or dependent, please get an educator or parent/guardian to complete this form for you.

Please note that our team will be seeking feedback on your experience with the National Science Experiment. Watch out for a voluntary online survey in the coming months.

CSIRO does not intend to disclose your personal information to anyone outside CSIRO or overseas. In the unlikely event that this occurs, your personal information may not be subject to the requirements and protections of the Australian Privacy Principles

Your personal information will only be published with your consent.

You are free to withdraw at any time during the event. Unless requested, we will retain any personal information collected prior to your withdrawal. If you request that we delete your personal information, we will do so if permitted by and in accordance with any applicable laws (including the Privacy Act and the Archives Act 1983 (Cth)).
