Audra Morrice: I don’t think all of us have our five serves of vegetables a day. That’s what we’re supposed to consume, right?
[Camera zooms in on the packets of powdered vegetables and then the image changes to show a partially made dumpling on Audra’s hand]
This can so easily be integrated into food.
[Image shows Audra sealing up the dumpling pastry and then the image shows Audra holding up the dumpling]
So, I make a lot of dumplings at home. You can put it into the wrapper. You can put it into the filling.

And that’s your serve of vegetable for that meal.

Today we made Laksa. You know, who would have ever thought that carrot powder or broccoli powder would work so well.

John Said: Fresh select in partnership with CSIRO is amazing yet we’re always humbled by the great researchers and the work that they do and the vision that they share with us to bring you know, more healthy food to Australian consumers and for that matter global consumers.

And it’s really quite brilliant how we can actually get great nutritional food and make it more available to consumers.
[Image changes to show Roger Simons talking to the camera and text appears: Roger Simons, Lunch Guest]
Roger Simons: Innovation is key to solving all of these big challenges that we face as a globe

and the volume of food waste that the hospital industry, in particular where I work, produces is staggering.
[Image changes to show Audra walking through the room and then the image changes to show Roger talking and then the image changes to show Audra sprinkling beetroot powder on a berry dessert]
What’s really exciting is the amount of investment and technology in industry now that’s being developed for using artificial intelligence to identify food waste through to the actual food products and how they’re manufactured.
[Image changes to show Eric Weisser talking to the camera and text appears: Eric Weisser, APAC Innovations Director, Ingredion]
Eric Weisser: As a food formulator, being able to have powders that would allow us to add extra nutrients,

whether it be through vitamins, minerals, extra fibre, or extra protein, into a food without impacting the overall taste and texture is a dream come true.
[Image changes to show Audra talking to the camera and then the image changes to show people sitting at the table eating and talking]
Audra Morrice: This creates not only 100% yield for farmers, it allows us to be far more productive and efficient in the way we cook it.
[Images move through to show gravy being poured onto a meal on a plate, the female sitting in front of the meal, and then people at the table talking and laughing]
I am so excited about these products and it’s great that the CSIRO are working with [01.54].

It will solve so many problems in the food chain. I mean ultimately that’s what it does.
