Voyage summary
Transit voyage from Sydney to Hobart to relocate RV Investigator in preparation for its next research voyage IN2023_V07.
During the transit, various familiarisation and administrative activities will be conducted to support handover of ship management services from ASP Ship Management to MMA Offshore Ltd (who were recently awarded the ship management services contract following a Request for Tender process).
Due to the short transit time, limited science operations will be conducted during the voyage and only using RV Investigator’s underway science systems.
This voyage has 19 participants/observers from 4 institutions, including MMA Offshore Ltd, ASP Ship Management and Aspen Medical, and 20 ship crew from ASP Ship Management.
