The Australian Government has today appointed Professor Emma Johnston AO as a part-time member of the CSIRO Board for four years, commencing from 22 August 2023.

Professor Johnston is the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) at the University of Sydney and is a globally recognised authority in marine science and conservation.
