Established in 2018 as a partnership between the University of Adelaide and the South Australian government, AIML is the founding tenant of the Lot Fourteen innovation precinct. AIML works closely with industry partners to develop new-to-market commercial AI products and helps businesses incorporate AI technology into their operations to remain globally competitive. AIML’s industry partners range in their AI adoption maturity, with clients including local SMEs and global technology giants operating across various sectors.
To date, AIML has worked with more than 35 SMEs; producing AI roadmaps, deployable proof of concepts, and everything in between. A key outcome from these engagements has been sustainable skills and capability transfer to industry partners, and growing the AI ecosystem in Australia through working closely with our machine learning engineers and researchers.
