Vault Cloud

Vault brings its own expertise in high-security services to provide the sovereign and secure platform for research and development, where the requisite information used to train and deploy models may be classified or highly sensitive.

Vault’s design addresses the following key issues:

1. A secure collaborative environment, potentially holding exabytes of classified raw data;
2. The efficient processing and wrangling of this data within this environment;
3. Access to supercomputing facilities to train and deploy models using this data. Vault directly supports AI product development and adoption.

Through Vault’s partnerships with other Capability Centres and research organisations, Vault will also enable outcomes across Australia and globally through a partnership with NVIDIA. Vault’s platform directly address the following concerns raised by SMEs:

1. Access to requisite AI/ML technology at whatever scale was required;
2. A secure and high-performance data storage environment so as to provide access to project collaborators;
3. Direct access to global technology leadership via NVIDIA and Vault. In partnership with NVIDIA, Vault will deliver the supercomputing facilities using the NVIDIA DGX SuperPod architecture. Vault has designed a facility which provides this supercomputing access, coupled with Vault’s security model and supported cloud services.
