Can the structured world of Explicit Direct Instruction blend with flexible, strengths-based learning in the classroom?
We believe so.
This workshop explores how to meld these two approaches to:
- promote individual students' strengths
- foster a more inclusive, engaged and effective classroom environment
- give space to students' diverse needs.
By recognising and leveraging students' strengths alongside clear objectives and instruction, we create a supportive framework where every learner can thrive.
In this workshop, educators will get strategies they can use straight away to support their students’ success and well-being, that dovetails with the EDI practises they already use.
